1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Lovio (the "App") or our website, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Lovio.

2. Eligibility

Lovio is a dating app intended only for adults aged 18 and older. By using Lovio you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you can form a binding agreement, and that you are not barred from using the service under any applicable law. We may remove any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.

3. Your Account

You can create an account using email, Apple, or Google. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and use real photos of yourself;
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account;
• Maintain only one personal account and not impersonate anyone;
• Be responsible for activity that happens through your account.

You are responsible for keeping access to the email, Apple, or Google account you signed up with.

4. How Lovio Works

Lovio lets you discover profiles and send a "Hey" to people you're interested in. When someone sends a Hey back, it becomes a match and you can chat. Lovio does not guarantee that you will receive Heys, matches, replies, or any particular outcome from using the service.

5. Community Rules and Acceptable Use

To keep Lovio safe and respectful, you agree that you will not:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse other users;
• Post nudity, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content;
• Impersonate others, create fake profiles, or misrepresent your age or identity;
• Use Lovio for prostitution, trafficking, solicitation, spam, scams, or commercial or promotional purposes;
• Share content that is illegal or that infringes anyone's rights;
• Contact, solicit, or attempt to meet anyone under 18;
• Collect other users' information, or use bots, scraping, or automated tools;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Lovio has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. We use moderation tools and may review reported content, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your Content

You own the photos, text, and other content you add to Lovio ("Your Content"). By posting Your Content, you grant Lovio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use Your Content solely to operate and provide the service. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Photo Verification

Lovio offers optional photo verification, which adds a verified badge to your profile so others can see you're a real person. How verification images are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Safety and Interactions With Others

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Lovio does not conduct criminal background checks and does not verify the identity, background, or conduct of every user. Always use good judgment, keep personal information private until you're comfortable, and meet in public if you choose to meet in person. You can block and report anyone directly in the app.

9. Lovio Platinum (Subscriptions)

Lovio is free to download and use with core features. Lovio Platinum is an optional paid subscription that unlocks features such as seeing who sent you a Hey, unlimited Heys, an ad-free experience, additional daily chats, Travel Mode, and a priority boost.

• Billing: Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.
• Prices: Prices are shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by region and change over time.
• Refunds: Payments are handled by Apple or Google and are generally non-refundable except where required by the store's policies or applicable law.

10. Ads

Lovio may display advertising to users who are not subscribed to Platinum. Subscribing to Platinum removes ads.

11. Third-Party Services and the App Stores

Lovio relies on third-party services (such as Apple, Google, and their app stores, and other infrastructure providers) to operate. Your use of those services is subject to their terms. If you downloaded Lovio from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Lovio (not Apple), that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them.

12. Intellectual Property

Lovio, its name, logo, and the App (excluding Your Content) are owned by Lovio and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as allowed by law.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Lovio at any time if you violate these Terms or the community rules, or to protect users or the service. You may stop using Lovio and delete your account at any time from in-app settings.

14. Disclaimers

Lovio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your expectations, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lovio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service or from your interactions with other users.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or for legal or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the date above. Your continued use of Lovio after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Lovio operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
